Re: Diarrhea
assuming the stools have been cultured and checked for worms and negative...i would try, and i assume you have tried gibving him boiled rice mixed with enough cooked hamnburger to make it tasty and keep him on that for at least a week...i also used to get good results wth old fashion tetracyclain but you had better check with your vet...but if nothing else try a week on the rice diets and see what happens,,pumpkins also sometmes works....good luck
Re: Diarrhea
whoops, i was thinking dog but still the thoery might work if you can get him to eat it
Re: Diarrhea
Agree with Davet, make sure the fecals are negative, you may have to opt for more than one fecal. Also ask your vet to check for coccidia, giardia, bacterials like e-coli, salmonella, campylobacter, etc, often overlooked.
What was the food you were feeding, and what are you feeding now? You can do as Davet advises and use cooked hamburger and white rice, or you can also try cooked white chicken and cooked white rice for a few days to see if this helps the stool firm up.
Since you noted lesions on the nose and couldn't identify them, your bengal could be suffering from a food allergy, did your vets rule this out? If an allergy has been ruled out, then ask them to rule out a possible fungal disease or even immunological disease. Discuss dietary measures with your vet, rule out intestinal bacterial overgrowth/parasites/etc.
