Coming from a vet (Linda East, DVM if in fact she's legit), I'm appalled at this advice. Acepromazine is in fact a tranquilizer and giving ace to a cat to prevent the allergen in a HUMAN is just not good practice, period. Does this solve the problem? No, it sedates the cat at the cat's expense, and I would be terribly concerned with long term use.

Another paragraph on the pages states to use Downy fabric softener on a cat.....irresponsible advice.

I know you were just the messenger, but I say OWNER BEWARE such "advice".

agree 100% but was just of interest.
For a while there was a theory about bathing the cat in distilled water to prevent human allergies...that also fell through

Heh, considering she is a homeopathic....no wonder....

Quoted from her site regarding bach flower essences:

"....Three or four times a day is recommended until the desired response is seen. Most people quickly learn when their cat "needs" another treatment."

Note last sentence in particular, makes you go Hmmmm.. And this one...

"There is no need for concern if other animals receive remedies in food or water. The remedies have no effect if there is no need."

Duh, no kidding.
