Well, Maggie's much better tonight, thank God. She had me even more worried when she didn't urinate all day yesterday, and none in the box this morning. I got to work and looked up her antihistamine and it said dry mouth and urinary retention as possible side effects. She had four long drinks of water before I even went to work this morning. But when I got home, yea! She had diuresed during the day. She looks much better, was spunky, no sneezing and her nose is clearer. I'm not going to give her the antihistamine tonight. Still giving her Clavamox for 5 more days. I'm so relieved she urinated (a lot) today. I worried the whole day. She's going on the 17th for a weight check.

Good news to report...Maggie's back to her old self again. No more sneezing, nose seems to have cleared up, normal stools; she's just doing great. She's more active, too. I think that Clavamox really did the trick. She still has a day and a half to go on that. Now we'll focus on the weight management. Have a wonderful day; much love to all of your kitties!
