Marble Survived Feline Panleukapenia! (Distemper)

HI Krissy, Marble didn't eat or drink and she had an extremely BLANK stare and just looked depressed..Cats with distemper deterioate VERY fast..and the only reason the vet said she pulled thru is cause we braught her to the vets ASAP..and it was very much touch and go..The vet did a simple blood test ..the name of it escapes me...but it determins without a doubt that she had distemper..I still can't get over how lucky we were for her to survive..but she is a fighter..There can be some side effects some major to them surviving distemper...Marble has a bit of brain dammage from the high fever she had....nothing major..She is doing amazing now..and I thank God everyday for sparing her..she is the most amazing Cat..So PLEASE get your cats to the vets even if you are not sure of the syptoms...Marble deteriotated SOOOO fast.. All kittens with distemper do...so immediate vet attention is CRUCIAL!

Keep me posted..and there is hope...Marble is proof of it..she made it..!
