Can I Feed Him Tuna Water?

Is it okay to let my cat eat the water from the can of tuna when I drain it?

Yes as long as it is water packed and not oil. I would not do this all the time, but once inawhile it is fine. Infact I did this for my kitten, thought she was not drinking water.

Tuna water has always been a huge treat for our cats. Funny thing, they won't eat the tuna, but they love the water. If we yell, "Tuna Water!", they come running! When our old boy was sick, we could always get him to drink his tuna water. I figured it had to be full of some nutrients to help him.

I think it is a great treat. A couple times a week we have to have tuna sandwiches so the cats can have their treat.
