Re: Mollie is sneezing all of a sudden!
Thanks for the reply. We have been watching her closely, and the sneezing appears to have subsided. I wondered whether she could be shedding her fur, causing more to build up in the carpets etc. We have been vaccuuming more frequently since the sneezing started and I guess that is helping. We do our...

Mollie is sneezing all of a sudden!
Hi all, Mollie has suddenly started sneezing three or four times in row, about 4 times a day. This only seems to happen after she has washed, or when she has been attempting to eat the Christmas tree (artificial)! She is a nearl 3, has always been an indoor cat and is up to date with her booster inj...

Re: dribble
thanks, were there any other symptons with mollie? I will try to check it out with the vet Not really, she was eating normally etc. One thing we did notice after a few days of antibiotics though was that she hadn't been meowing for a while - that soon came back though! Did you get your cat checked?

Re: dribble
When Mollie did this we took her to the vets, and it turned out to be tonsilitis!
I would get him to the vet as it could be anything - problems with his teeth, poisonus substance, anything. Best to get him checked out.
Let us know how you get on.

Re: Soft, slimey stools?
Well, we took Mollie to the vets Wednesday night, and the vet said her food may be too rich for her. She said that as Mollie is a good weight and healthy in every other way, she doubted that it was anything else. i also asked her to check her temperature, and it was 38, so normal. She has always had...

Soft, slimey stools?
Ever since Mollie was diagnosed with tonsillitis a few weeks back, her stools have been soft. After your advice here, I decided to give her a few days to see whether the antibiotic helped her. The tonsillitis cleared up within a day or so, but these stools have remained. We thought it might have bee...

Cats and tonsilitis?
Hi all, When we got home tonight, we noticed Mollie was drooling excessively. We have never seen this before, so we called the vets right away and took her in. Typically, it was out of surgery hours, but they were really good and still saw her. The vet could see nothing in her mouth, and her teeth w...

Re: Indoor Cats In Summer?
Thank you for your replies :) The tower fan just seems to move the hot air round! We don't have screens in this country. We have thought of trying to fashion some kind of wire mesh insert into the window frame to allow us to have the windows open, perhaps we will go to the DIY store after work to se...

Indoor Cats In Summer?
Hello all, I haven't been around for a few months because we haven't had any problems with Mollie <touches wood!> Anyway, we live in the UK, right down south, and in summer the temperatures get quite high. Mollie is an indoor cat, so this reduces the amount of windows and doors we can have open. I'm...
