Yes, I do hope the Baytril will do nicely the job. But as I am a holistic believer, my vet, who is a conventional vet first but does also homeo for some conditions, knows that I would rather treat Belle holistically whenever possible, except in acute conditions to relieve the pain. Homeopathy is a p...

Hi Traci, My deepest thanks for your support on this matter. I brought Belle to the vet this morning and it's an anal sac blockage with abscess. The vet pierced the sac and drained the abscess. It's very impressive. Belle did not like it at all but I think she feels better now. She gave Belle a shot...

I will never let her be in this state or any discomfort longer than I can stand, that means immediately if possible. I'...

Thank you very much Traci for your answer. I'll certainly get her to the vet tomorrow. I agree with you about not putting the Elizabethan collar for now.

About cleaning the area... it's rather difficult see as she does absolutely not want me to touch it. It looks dry though.

Urgent help for suspected skin ulcer (?)

Dear All- I'm seeking a quick advice here as I'm freaking out, vet office is closed (I'm in France) and I will be able to reach her only tomorrow, hopefully. Belle has suddenly developed a round sore of about 1cm in diameter, very dark on the rim and dark red round in the middle , at about 1cm on th...
