Re: Whisker Lickin' Good
Traci, It was a flea allergy and the vet had to use a different kind of cortizone shot. He is not itching anymore but the hair on his bottom is taking a long time to grow back, which is another concern of mine. He is back to his normal self other than his whiskers and the hair regrowth. I've noticed...

Whisker Lickin' Good
My cats are brothers. They like to snuggle with each other, clean each other and the majority of the time they are inseparable. I have noticed that one of my cats is over-grooming to the point where he is chewing off my other cat's whiskers. Has anyone ever heard of this behavior and any ideas on ho...

Fungus
Is anyone educated on Cat Skin Fungus? I am trying to detect my cat's allergy problem. I was wondering if perhaps his allergy has turned into a mild skin fungus. Is there a topical solution or mild shampoo I can use to help him? Does anyone have experience with this? Thanks.

I was so sure it was flea related, but now I have ruled out that it is not fleas. What could he be allergic to in the ...

Diet related
I just moved in with a roommate who has a cat and I have two cats. My cats eat Iams and her cat has an urinary tract problem so he is on a special diet. One of my cats, who is supposed to eat Iams, sneaks around and ends up eating some of my roommate's cat's special diet food. I'm wondering if this ...

Allergies/Broken Whiskers
My cat, about 3 years old, has recently broken off his whiskers. He also has allergies, which I'm pretty sure are related to fleas. I've given him Frontline and Advantage, which aren't helping entirely with the constant itching. I am wondering if the broken whiskers are related to him itching and th...
