I bought one of the multiple cat ones last summer when I was planning to go on vacation and it has really worked out well. I had 2 cats at the time, a 15-year-old and a 6 week old kitten. I set it up next to the old litter box. The older cat (who we had to put down in December) never really got used...

I posted last week about a barn cat with a really swollen ear. Thanks to all that replied! The owner finally came back on Friday, and apparently got my frantic messages and took the cat right to the vet. I haven't heard yet what the problem was (probably hematoma), but the kitty was gone all weekend...
