We are inching forward. She's been out of the crate all day today so far, learned the doggie door...so it's been in and out every few minutes. Oh, Marty, she's gorgeous. I'm so happy for you. Those paws are HUGE! Funny, I never considered Bassets big dogs until I became friends with a trainer who has them. Like you said, with time and patience, I'm sure she'll come out of her shell.

BAkc to bully sticks. I give one to Mick every once in awhile. Just to be on the safe side, I only let him have one for no more than a half hour, then I put it away for the next time. But that's because Mick's digestive system has gotten a little touchy with age (he's almost 15 1/2).
