My first question:

Do you own your home?

Re: very sick cat has gone missing

Ya know what? I have found during my young 52 years that animals, be it a cat, dog, horse, etc., have their own "off" days. Literally! Now and then one or another one of my critters will have a couple of "off" days - very irritable, throwing up for no reason, nasty attitude :twis...

Re: very sick cat has gone missing

I won't tell anyone yer user name if'n you don't! Sure glad you found your cat. Please keep us informed as far as his health situation is concerned. BTW, I'm ususally in Kevin's Room trying to clean it out some, but I also have eight cats (all indoor) along with the dogs, horses, and burros. ...

Re: Talk about Kitty's quirks here

This is indeed a fun post ^_^ true...but what if our cats could login here and post some of our quirks? we all know that nothing is hid from them, if cats could ever talk or type...we would be doomed!!!! ;) Boy, you sure have that nailed, Jason! There isn't one thing on this string that at le...

Re: Is there anything on earth that gets urine out of carpet

Have you tried lemon juice or tomato juice? If they can cut the smell of a skunk, they should be able to handle cat pee.

BTW, if you have a pad under your carpet, you will not get rid of the smell unless you get it out of both the pad and carpet.

Re: Cat Food/Kitty Litter

Yup! The scoopable is great for clumping up urine, and the clay is great for the really smelly stuff. Plus, it also gives the cat the satisfaction of covering up their do completely.

Like I said, they both are a tat more expensive, but you couldn't pay me to try anything else!

Re: New Member

Howdy, Cin! Welcome to the cat board - and the dog boards since ya have dogs, too. "Kevin's Room" is always worth visiting, and ya never know what may be happening! I have eight cats (all indoor), dogs (more than three, but less than 50!), two Perceron draft horses, two burros (one which w...

Re: Outdoor Cat coming Inside

I went thru' the same thing with a few of my cats, too. After about a week, the two females stopped their hissy fits, but it took Fred, the only male, a bit longer. Actually, he still looks yearningly out the window, but when he goes to the door and the hot air hits him, it's back to the cool in the...

Re: Cat Food/Kitty Litter

My eight cats eat only dry Hill's c/d. As for kitty litter, I fill both X-tra large hooded cat pans with half Fresh Step Scoopable, and Fresh Step Clay Litter. I swear by that stuff, too. It may be a tat expensive, but there's not one person who's walked into my house and was able to believe that ei...
