How many cats are too many?

I have six cats. All but one I got from the county animal shelter because so may cats are euthanized there. I can't adopt all the cats in the world and I really don't think I want to, but I noticed one recently on a Web site at the county animal shelter who was missing an eye. She's four years old a...

Re: Kitty with asthma

Punky does kind of snore when he's lying on the bed, but that's the only noise he makes. He doesn't wheeze at any other time, nor does he breathe with his mouth open. My usual vet didn't notice anything unusual, this was the weekend vet who I actually like and got my other cat to stop vomiting (by t...

Kitty with asthma

I took Punky, the world's prettiest cat, to the vet last week because his eyes were gooey. Turns out he has conjunctivitis in both eyes and needs medicine three times a day for 10 days. The vet tech told us how pretty Punky was and how everyone thought she was wonderful (despite the prettiness, Punk...

Re: Sickly Feral on our Front Porch

We had a sickly feral on our porch, no gunky face, but gunky everywhere else and skinny, skinny. She liked people and being petted, though. We quickly got her spayed at a "free" clinic (and yes, I realize now we probably should have waiting until she felt better) and fed her about three sm...

Re: Siamese sick or not?

It could be nothing, it could be something. Take her to the vet to get checked out.

It could be she has a virus affecting her throat.

Re: Anyone have any links on brain damage in kitties?

Nope, all looks normal. The only thing different about her is the little head wobble and that she's completely boneless when I pick her up.

She's a good girl, though, just a little odd. Maybe it's the Siamese blood.

Anyone have any links on brain damage in kitties?

I think my little eight-month old Siamese-mix baby could have something wrong with her. She stares at me a lot, her head wobbles slightly when she does, but she doesn't have seizures or walk strangely. (She also gives this great look of reproach.) She does play with the other cats and can run around...

Re: Cat hates boyfriend Please help

My cat Miguel didn't like when my boyfriend starting coming over a lot. He didn't mind him at first, but when he started spending the night and taking his spot on the bed, he started getting mean. He bit my boyfriend twice (deep with blood dripping) and would claw him while he was sleeping. As soon ...

Re: cat in heat (?) Please help!

Also, at seven months, she runs a higher risk of having her kittens not survive or her dying trying to give birth.

She won't miss motherhood and she'll be a very good pet. She's suffering now, so get her spayed!
