Re: Small pink bumps on head
HI there, When you say "bumps", are they raised? Do they form a ring? I am thinking ringworm. You should really have your cat checked by the vet. If this is ringworm, he/she needs immediate attention. It isn't fatal, but can be passed on to you and your family. It can be a major pain to ge...

Re: Introducing new kitten to current cat
Congrats on your new kitty! The stalking behavior you are observing is normal. Of course, you want to watch to make sure your cat isn't too rough, but you should let them get aquainted by the rough play. This is normal for cats. In no time at all, they will be the best of friends. I have a three yea...

Re: litter box training
I agree with the other posters. Going to the litter box is instictual for cats.
However, sometimes they need a bit of demonstration. Place your kitty in the litter box and physically take her paw and scrape at the litter, in a digging motion. This should get her in the right direction!
Good luck!

Re: worried about my new kitten!
Did your kitten have her vaccinations recently? This can cause a decrease in appetite. Is she drinking? It is more important for her to drink at this point to prevent dehydration. If she continues to not eat, definitely call your vet. Good luck! Denise P.S. Tuna isn't good for cats. Once in a great ...

Re: Lost house cat, help with a way to lure him back , pleas
I am so sorry that your kitty is missing! Make sure you call your local shelter on a daily basis! This is really important. Also call your police department or animal control. Continue putting fresh food in the trap daily. Also, put some cat nip in there. If there are certain foods your cat loves, t...

Re: What Is Wrong With My Kitten?
I also have 2 Himmi's and my female is quite odd, as well. I love her with all of my heart, but she is not an overly affectionate cat. She will allow us to pet her but only on her terms! She is nice girl, just very independent. She is the pickiest eater on the planet. She will not eat anything excep...

Ummm...she is an animal!!!
To answer your question, I don't think that being in heat would affect the way your cat smells. Maybe she didn't go in the laundry basket today?

Every time I go to the grocery store, my girl will come booking in the kitchen regardless of the room she was in and start licking the bags  . I was talking to a woman whom I wor...

Hi there! I am so sorry your cat is having a tough time! This is not an anti-declay post, but how do you know your cat isn't in pain? She very well could be. The older the cat, the more weight is put on the paws. This is no doubt uncomfortable. Again, I am not judging you for declawing your cat. We ...

Also, if those are not real options, you could try picking it up after you are done using it and draping it over the edge of the tub. We found that helped, but did not eliminate the problem. :) Aint kitty psychology fun??? I guess I should have read all of the posts before I offered my great ...
