Re: In memory of Winnie

I'm very sorry you lost Winnie, Marty, she was such a beautiful and sweet looking Basset Hound. We had a Basset many years ago, they make wonderful friends. You and Winnie are in my thoughts and prayers.

It can sometimes be misdiagnosed as Epilepsy ( this happened with our dog Roxy - she was originally diagnosed with epilepsy but in fact ha...

Don't know what causes the behaviour but our cat Ringo started using our tub as a urinal... we countered by leaving an inch or so of water in the tub for awhile which changed his mind.

Re: Sugar substitute harmful to dogs...

That was my thought too, Jim, four large muffins, and chocolate frosting, chocolate being toxic to pets. Wonder if the actual muffins were chocolate as well. Re: Sugar substitute harmful to dogs...

You ppl probably have seen this but.... http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20060929/us_nm/life_dogs_dc Interesting that the chocolate frosting wasn't mentioned as being harmful in the article on the other hand, a quarter of pound of xylitol in a single muffin sounds like it wouldn't be good even for humans.
