Re: Possible labor????
They are only open from 8am-9am on Sundays for emergencies only, & yes someone comes in 3X a day to water/feed/walk/etc the cats & dogs. I used to work for them so I have a very good idea what they do which makes me feel a lot better about the situation

Re: Possible labor????
They're not open on the weekends. She didn't have her surgery until mid-afternoon and close @ 5. When we called to check on her she was just coming out of anesthesia, wasn't completly alert by the time they were closing up and wanted her to stay

Re: Possible labor????
Yes, they wanted to wait & make sure so that's why they had it done on Friday. Our last cat had earmites that we adopted from the shelter, they were really bad, so we're lucky to catch this early on. Yes, her name is Molly, my boys named her after one of their trains from Thomas & Friends lol

Re: Possible labor????
Turns out she's a happy & healthy little 1 year old kitty! She had a mild case of ear mites, got the meds for that, she went in yesterday morning to get her fixed, they said she did great & we'll have her home Monday morning. Thank you for asking, things are hectic with twins around the hous...

Re: Possible labor????
Also wanted to verify, my veterinarian told me he can't diagnose exactly until she is seen, but it appeared to him that it was possibly her being in heat.

Re: Possible labor????
I'm 80 miles from Portland. She was rolling on the floor, tail off to the side, treading her back feet, rubbing all over things. Like I said we got her off of a farm family, they don't know how old she is. Just started yesterday, today she's doing the same thing off & on all morning. The liquid ...

Re: Possible labor????
It's unfortunate that we don't have a 24 hr emergency vet clinic or anything in my town, we live in such a small community. I was able to get in contact with a vet who was 'on call' at the veterinarian office I used to work at and I described everything and he said she was in heat. Set up an appt. f...

Possible labor????
For the last 2 hours my cat has been acting very unlike herself. We adopted her about 3 weeks ago from a farm field trip we went on with our kids & their school, so there's definatly a possibility she could be pregnant. But she keeps laying on her side, with her tail off to the side, her legs wi...
