Does clumping clay kitty litter cause feline health problems
According to Marina Michaels in the article Clumping Clay Kitty Litters: A Deadly Convenience? (www.catmom.com/marina/articles/clum.html) the cat gets it on its fur, grooms itself and ingests it eventually causing a variety of health problems. Also, the baking soda used to elimate odors causes more ...

Re: Cat's lip swollen - please help!!!
We've just been through the granuloma bit too and just to encourage you, it did clear up after a course of antibiotics. Course, perhaps it was not really a granuloma but that's what the vet he thought it looked like. He suggested perhaps it was an allergy, maybe to food. We did stop Iams and started...

Re: Is Iams as good as pet shop brands?
Thanks Traci for your computer expertise about accessing the board! Button was two in March (or Feb?). We've had him for a little over a year and a half. Re: allergy-caused granuloma
Thank you for your response. The Vet did say he thought it was eonsinopholic granuloma. The week's antibiotics was because he wasn't sure whether it was a lesion he had scratched or the granuloma. It looks just the same so apparently it was not a lesion. He said if the antibiotics did nothing and si...

allergy-caused granuloma
Has anyone heard that tuna is a common allergy? Button (2 year old American short-hair with a fantastic disposition) has developed a small granuloma on his lower lip which doesn't seem to bother him but it has not responded to one week's antibiotic. The vet thought it might just be a lesion -- but i...
