Thanks Traci, I'll see them tomorrow and see how she's doing and will mention what you suggested...I last saw her on wed and it was only the 2nd day she had been doing it, it's been a couple days, hopefully i'll go out there and find out it's no longer an issue. kitty runs like a rabbie
Hey guys, I posted on here a few months ago, about my mom and her new kitty (snuggles) she is such a joy, and so playful and loving, but just a couple days ago, my parents noticed that when she runs across the floor, her back paws are together, almost like she's hopping, it looks just like a rabbit ...

Re: ideas to dull kitty's claws
Are those the ones that are shaped like a half moom, almost like a little hill? If so, i guess it looked like it would sharpen rather than dull them.
I told my dad to build something, and cover it with sandpaper, plus that would be cheaper.
Thanks for your idea
Peggy

ideas to dull kitty's claws
Hello, My mom just got a new kitty, she's now almost 6 months old, and kitty is tearing the house up...climbing up the curtains, literally up to the top of the curtains, and mom refuses to get her de-clawed, because of what she's heard of the pain it causes. I see scratching posts and such at the st...

Re: cat clipped by a car, trouble peeing
Traci, Just wanted you to know that Laurie took sammi to a neurologist, and the dr put him on another dose of the bethanecol and the other one you sugggested on the previous page, and he believed at that time (about a week and a half ago) that he had a 75% chance of recovering. So since he's been on...

Re: cat clipped by a car, trouble peeing
Laurie has been instructed to take the cat back to the emergency vet place, because they have the neurologist on staff who can check his nerve endings and see how much damage there is, and if there is a chance of recovery. She watched him in the litter box, squatting and just waiting and waiting, an...

Re: cat clipped by a car, trouble peeing
Thanks Traci, I am going to print off what we've talked about so far, and she's taking it to her vet to discuss tomorrow. Apparently she was not giving him enough of the bethanecol, and 5 days ago, she started giving him the correct dosage, and it was 4 days ago, that they had to start doing the cat...
