Re: Update on Razzeratz and the kittens
Just my totally unprofessional opinion but is there a chance these idiots dislocated his jaw during the dental? That would explain the grinding noise. I hope you can find a good vet and resolve the problem.

Re: New kitten is limping
Oliver is all better. His temp was normal Friday evening. Yesterday he made up for lost time by playing most of the day. He makes it difficult to use this laptop since he likes to lay on it so I pay attention to him. Unfortunately Max caught whatever Oliver had now he is sick too. We had Max to the ...

Re: New kitten is limping
Latest on Oliver - the mouth sores are almost gone. Yesterday he started playing a little. This morning he was really active. He is actually running again in spurts. Back to the vet this evening for a recheck. Of course I just found out this morning I have Lyme's. Bummer. Doxycycline for three weeks.

Re: New kitten is limping
Back from the vet again. Oliver's temperature was down to 103. The vet saw a couple of small blisters in his mouth. He said the blisters aren't a bad thing as it indicates a simple viral infection that will be OK and not something terrible like FIP. He examined his front legs and said the growth pla...

Re: New kitten is limping
I have good news! Oliver seems to have turned the corner. This morning he was still lethargic and didn't eat or drink much, and I was going to take him to the vet again in the afternoon. But by this afternoon he became more active and has eaten three times now. He was really hungry. Plus he had a bo...

Re: New kitten is limping
We got back from the vet. Oliver did have a fever, it was 105 degrees. The exam was fine otherwise. They tested for FeLV and FIV and were both negative. He put Oliver on a course of antibiotics. He said if it is a viral infection it will run its course in due time. He did not suspect anything seriou...

Yes the breeder tests for PKD. When I say he is lethargic, I mean he just sleeps all the time. He has been sleeping now for close to six hours. I realize that cats sleep a significant portion of the day. Our adult cat Max is almost seven and he will sleep eight hours at a time sometimes. But up unti...

I am happy to report that he is much better this morning. He is walking on the bad leg. My wife and I took turns watching him all night the last two nights so it was relief to see him walk to the kitchen to eat and drink. He used the litter box once then later returned a second time but did not do a...

New kitten is limping
We have a ten week old kitten, Oliver, that we just brought home last Tuesday. He was getting along famously until Saturday evening. He was on the couch sleeping next to my wife. She left the room and I looked over and he was gone. A few minutes later he appeared from going to the litter box. He dec...
