Re: Cat grooming question

You're pretty hardheaded, aren't you? And that's me being nice! For the second or third time, there is a new vet, there is nobody there from a year ago when I last had the cats groomed so give up already. The vet does NOT know the groomer, his name, where he came from, where he went, NOTHING! Get it...

Re: 4 week old kittens Questions and help please

They are using the litterbox, and yes, they do somehow end up with little pieces of feces around their rear, in their paws, and/or on their tail. When I have seen them eliminate, they seem very fastidious about getting clean but in the mornings when I go to check on them, their litterbox contains fe...

Re: Cat grooming question

I talked to the new vet, like I already said. Yes, apparently the groomer is free to groom and sedate as he pleases. If I had his name I'd give it to you and let you hunt him down.

Ok, I won't bathe the kittens. I forgot to ask the vet that one so now I know. Another myth from the internet stated to bathe them first and try to get the scaly stuff off. They do get poo stuck all over their tummies and tails and feet though, how do I keep them clean? They eventually bathe it all ...

Re: Cat grooming question

It's a new vet that wasn't there when I had the cats groomed.

Re: Cat grooming question

The groomer in question is gone. There is a new groomer who absolutely refuses to groom cats at all due to some bad experiences. I did buy a furminator at the vet's office today though and can't wait to try it out! :D

Re: 4 week old kittens Questions and help please

Yes to the kitten packs. They are labeled "kitten". I'm still doing mainly canned with some moist dry but it would be a whole lot easier (and cleaner, they look pretty funny after they dig into the bowl of canned food  , although I'm amazed that they already are pretty intent on clean...

Re: 4 week old kittens Questions and help please

Thanks for everything. I'm hearing a lot about people refusing to vaccinate their children b/c of autism. That's what I was referring to...also a lot of people switching to raw food diets for themselves and their pets. I am trying to "go green" as much as possible so thought I'd ask, just ...

Hi...can I ask some more questions? I found this site which recommends no vaccines and a raw food diet(says they cause cancer, and with the human vaccines in the news it makes me wonder). Does it sound believable to you? I would like to be as natural as possible but not risk anybody's health. http:/...

Re: Cat grooming question

We do use that vet so I will be going back in and asking if that groomer is still there and questioning the sedation, shampoo issues. The whole issue does make me question even the vet but this office is the one used by the rescues and shelter around here so they must be doing something right...or i...
