So do you think that putting her in a laundry or bathroom would be a good idea instead of my bedroom?

She seems to nurse perfectly with me in the room, but maybe it might force her to nurse them all as she cant hide them anywhere?

Thanks Traci! Only about 30 mins after I wrote that she started labouring! Shes up to Number 5 and I think she might still have one in her. He said we should be expecting kittens in the next few days, up to a week.

We actually picked up a pamphlet for a Emergency Vet while we were at the vets, incase something goes wrong with my girl.

I will be watching her and the bubs every move whilst she labours.

Im not in a hurry at all to let the kittens go, they can stay with mum for as long as possible.

I dont understand how some people let the cats go to new homes at 5 weeks!! Even 8 weeks is too young IMO.

I would also like to add too -she is a pedigree Chinchilla Persian and we have homes (which are all family and friends) for up to 8 kittens which will all be spayed, as soon as possible.

After this litter, my queen will be spayed also.
