This was recommended by the vet as a starter diet, calling today to pick up referral to specialist in Sydney for gastroscopy and will get more details on a diet from him. Thanks for your post, he is quite perky today and strongly resisting being pilled - always a good sign!

Edited, Admin note: for readers following this post, do NOT fast a cat for "2-3 days", cats cannot go 2-3 days without eating or fluid intake, or their liver will be severely affected, as well as severe dehydration occuring. Did vet say to fast him for 2-3 days and give an anti-emetic. My...

Gastric Ulcer

My vet thinks my Cat Louis (a beautiful 8 year old Burmese) has a gastric ulcer. I would like to get help from anyone whose cat has experienced this - especially with diet and medication. We are getting referred to a specialist for a Gastroscopy which will cost around $1000 so until I can save that ...
