Re: brother sister seperation
Thank you for your reply. I did take the male to the vet. He has a UTI and is on pain meds and antibiotics. They told me to keep him separate so I could monitor whether or not he was urinating. I will also take her to the vet for a check up and to see about a diet for her. Thank you. Stacy

brother sister seperation
My kitty got sick this past weekend and I had to separate him from his sister to keep and eye on him. She seems to be depressed by it. I tried to bring them in the same room for a while and she hisses at him. I think she is mad. Other question, more serious. My girl kitty has gained a lot of weigh s...

Re: matted cats
Hello. My local pet superstore takes your pets into a private room to groom them. Maybe yours will to. It can't hurt to call and tell them your situation and see if they can help. Good luck. Stacy

Re: Kitty won't take pills
The after hours vet is about an hour away. Do you know a technique for administering a pill to a cat. I don't want to force it, but if there is a way I would like to try. You have been a great deal of help. Thank you so much for all your help.

Kitty won't take pills
I was given some antibiotics in the form of pills. He will not eat his canned food. I even mixed it with his dry food, and nothing. I tried putting it in his mouth and making him swallow and he spits it out. Help. Thanks

Re: my kitty can't go
Just got back from the vet. Doc says his pH is high. He also has red and white blood cells in urine. Some crystal fragments are there also. She says he is not blocked and that she believes he has a UTI. She gave me some antibiotics and said to switch him to can food. He still won't drink and he turn...

Re: my kitty can't go
I forgot to mention that they also put a pocket of fluid under his skin. He is still not drinking. Had a little more urine in the box, but has been in the box most of the night/morning. He comes out, then goes right back in. I am taking the urine sample back to the vet and also bringing him with me....

Re: my kitty can't go

They gave me some pain medication for him and am waiting for him to urinate so I can bring them a sample. They gave me some no sorb litter for his ...
