Re: Probable intestinal cancer inoperable, is there a supple
Wanted you all to know that Squeaky is doing fairly well these past several weeks. He takes the pred which seems to stimulate his appetite, among other things, so he eats well. (I am feeding him a prescription I-D for cats with intestinal problems.) He still throws up occasionally which is not good ...

Re: Probable intestinal cancer inoperable, is there a supple
How much pred did you give Chester? Squeaky was on 5 mg 2x/day, now reduced to 5 mg once a day, not sure he is doing as well on 5 mg but do not want to give him more than necessary. I give Squeaky syrup before going to the emerg vet but could not tell that it helped him. Recent glucose and fructoame...

Re: Probable intestinal cancer inoperable, is there a supple
Thanks very much for telling me about Chester, hope Squeaky does as well, or even half as well. I give him fluids and he is on pred now and for several weeks has done well.

Re: Probable intestinal cancer inoperable, is there a supple
I have consulted an internal medicine specialist and a radiologist. Since the gp misdiagnosed and almost killed him, leaving him with neurological damage, we are waiting to see if he recovers somewhat from that before subjecting him to surgery for a biopsy, this surgery might leave him even more bra...

Re: Maine Coon cat, Siamese Mix at Ga Kill Shelter, Help!
Bad news--the Siamese Mix was NOT rescued, she may then be put down tomorrow or she may have another day or two. The person who I was told wanted her did not want her, was veven angry that I had asked that the cat be held for her to view. Traci, I did do as you suggested, also just emailed a Siamese...

Re: Maine Coon cat, Siamese Mix at Ga Kill Shelter, Help!
Good news after all--RescueCats is taking the Maine Coon, if I foster for a few weeks. He seems to be a truly wonderful cat, I am supposed to be keeping him now in isolation. Hope he does okay. And, I think and hope that another rescue organization is taking the Siamese Mix and her kittens. Will let...

Re: Maine Coon cat, Siamese Mix at Ga Kill Shelter, Help!
I have tried posting on petfinder, they did not enter my post under animals for adoptions, not sure, they have entered my posts underder found animals before. I have talked to rescue organizations until I am blue in the face. The best I have done is that if I personally foster the Maine Coon one wil...

Re: Cat not eating, dilute urine, help!
I wanted to let everyone know that Squeaky seems okay now--very interested in eating and back to his alert self. Thanks, Traci, for all your help. Should this reoccur, I know better what the possilibities are. Also, I do not really use nutro--when I forced him I was using nutri-cal, a nutrient paste...
