Re: Tommy's Outcome (Feral cat gone MIA now home)
Lol, oh no worries. They're just harmless little garter snakes. They somehow get into our basement. Late fall and winter is when I see most of the snakes. Summer and spring, not so much. There's a dirt room down there that I was planning on turning into a darkroom some time. That's where they seem t...

Re: Tommy's Outcome (Feral cat gone MIA now home)
I am happy. Now he can at least come upstairs and not be alone in the basement. Oh yes, they are definitely indoor cats. All of mine have been. The tags are a precaution. You know, in case he gets out again. The first time, he sort of slipped out. We're not sure when or how he did it to be honest. I...

Re: Tommy's Outcome (Feral cat gone MIA now home)
Okay, we took Tommy in to the vet. Just got home. Weight-wise, Tom is fine. The vet says that he'll fill out no problem. Apparently, he wasn't as thin as we thought. Tom's face has always been long, but before we lost him, it was a bit fuller from the fur and a proper diet. Well, the vet says that T...

Re: Tommy's Outcome (Feral cat gone MIA now home)
Okay, good news. Gary has caved in and said we can take Tom to the vet. This is a good sign that we can keep him. We have an appointment for tonight. Unfortunately, Tommy knows what the carrier means, and has gone into hiding. So, wish us luck in capturing him .. again.

Re: Tommy's Outcome (Feral cat gone MIA now home)
My computer and camera are the only things that could get any real money, but I need those for school.

Re: Tommy's Outcome (Feral cat gone MIA now home)
Mom and Gary share their paychecks. If mom charges the vet bill, he'll know, but she doesn't have any spending cash atm due to my college. Money is a big issue in the house right now. We won't let this go, like ... never take Tommy to the vet. He -will- go for sure. As to when he'll go .. that's iff...

Re: Tommy's Outcome (Feral cat gone MIA now home)
Traci: I plan on getting him seen to, but I have no money. Not of my own anyway. My savings was emptied last year for prom. Which is why I need the job. While Tommy was outside, I did put food and water out for him every day since his disappearance, just in case. But he never ate much of it since he...

Re: Tommy's Outcome (Feral cat gone MIA now home)
Tambrey: I vacuum twice a week. Jaden doesn't really shed much. Tom does, but that's because he's really nervous. We actually need to clean the entire house. Raja was very sick awhile back (we had to have her put to sleep. She was in too much pain and the medicine we got stopped working) and she she...

Re: Tommy's Outcome (Feral cat gone MIA now home)
k9Karen: No, Gary isn't violent. He's actually a very nice guy. I've known him since I was way little. We're actually really close, but he just doesn't like all of the cat hair, vet bills and the litter boxes. Mom sees Gary's points, but she wants to keep Tommy too. She loves him just as much as I d...
