Re: Cats scratching on furniture...help please!
Thanks so much for all of the suggestions, Traci and MA. I will try them one by one! I did try the double-sided tape, but Chester, loves the glue and started eating it. Junior, who always copies everything did too so I had to remove it. I did order some furniture protectors online, and will try that...

Cats scratching on furniture...help please!
I just noticed my furniture is getting ragged because of my cats. I thought they weren't scratching on it, but must be doing it a lot when we're not home. Please tell me possible solutions. I have scratching materials all over the house. I would prefer to buy something that I could put on the corner...

Re: Is the Cat Help board broken?
The board wouldn't load. Internet Explorer kept working, but the board didn't come up. I got to every other board I tried quickly. The initial page of your site wasn't right either. On the first page, Cat Help hadn't had a new message since June 14. That's why I thought the whole board was broken. W...

Is the Cat Help board broken?
This may have been discussed, but I can't get into the cat help board at all. Please let me know what is going on. I'm afraid I'll need to ask something, and not be able to. Thanks.

Re: Matted Fur
Hi. Thanks for the help. I took Muffin to the vet, and he cut out the mats, and didn't charge! Was chicken to do it myself.

Thanks...msg
I am not offended at all! Muffin was overweight, but after several months on Science Diet r/d, she has lost weight. She is not into grooming that much, I think because she is a former stray, and had to worry about survival. Maybe her weight reinforced the bad habit. I never took my cats to the groom...

Matted Fur
Please tell me how to remove mats from my cat's fur. She has medium-length fur, and it has become matted near her tail. Thanks.
