The vet just called and told me that he survived the neuter with flying colors
And that I can come pick him up later tonight. I can't wait to see my baby! I've been Kibberless for almost 4 days...

Re: Posting for Kriss-serously ill cat
Who cares if he's your boss! Seek another opinion. Sounds almost like it's neurological. Definitely go to another vet, who said you have to tell your boss anyway?

YET another update...
Kibbers is doing great! He hasn't vomited since before he passed the hairball. And his stools are firming up. He's getting neutered tomorrow, of course the vet decided that! LOL

Re: over the counter flea control
Did you know there were over 960 fatal cases due to Hartz flea medication just last year? That's horrible. I can't believe they are still in business.

Yet another update...
We went to visit him in kitty prison (hehe, that's what the vet called it) and the vet told us that he had passed a HUGE hairball in his diarrhea. I'm thinking that maybe it's from grooming the kitten (he is long haired and shedding) and he just injested way too much. Hopefully that is all that's wr...

Update on Kibbers...
He is at the vet right now getting an xray and a blood panel. The vet said he's frustrating him because he's got a great attitude but he's having these bouts of diarrhea and vomiting...hopefully it's nothing too serious...

Re: Poor Kibbers...
Good news!
They're chasing each other around now (Kibbers and Oreo, the kitten). I'm so glad he feels better.
I'm still going to watch him closely...just in case.

Re: Poor Kibbers...
Absolutely, if he just isn't the same by morning we're headed to the ER vet. He already ate some food (not much, just nibbled a bit) and drank a bit of water. He's more alert now. He just saw the kitten run by and is staring at him like he wants to pounce heh. I'm starting to get a bit more confiden...

Re: Poor Kibbers...
He's not lethargic, just worn out I think. The vet freaks him out. He was hissing and scratching the whole time they examined him today. You should have seen him when they gave him the injection. OUCH.

Re: Poor Kibbers...
The second he vomited (only one time) I called the vet and they said if he did it again, to call again. So I did when he did it again. The diarrhea wasn't dehydrating him, as the vet saw him on monday and his diarrhea was slowly progressing to solid stools, with ocassional bouts of diarrhea. The vet...
