Re: Kitten Injured by Vet? HELP
Your vet may feel the need to extend the Albon, but only after another fecal results in negative for coccidia. If he didn't instruct you on the Albon and the dosing each day, call him immediately and get that verified. To my knowledge, Albon doesn't cause increased thirst, my guess is that she is s...

Re: Kitten Injured by Vet? HELP
What was the instrument, was it metal or was it a long q-tip type? Did he even get a sample and test it? Did he proceed to deworm her and treat for URI? Mona is right, get your kitten to an ER vet immediately on the offchance that damage to the colon was done. Unlikely, but don't take that risk. If...

Re: Read your reply about Coccidia
My vet used a similar plastic instrument, but only inserted a very small end of it into my kitten. Coccidia can cause bloating and is serious enough to require multiple treatment. Keep kitty on the meds as directed, I went through this with my first cat Honeybun i the beginning. Make sure kitty eat...

Re: Kitten Injured by Vet? HELP
My advice is get to an ER vet immediately, and ask for the records from the old vet (do not go back there). Go now to see if there is possibly an injure to your cat, get an xray done of the area affected. Please let us know what happens. Good luck to you, and I hope it will be ok. Mona :( Mona, the...

Kitten Injured by Vet? HELP
I recently rescued a kitten from a bad situation and took her to the vet for worming and meds for badly infected eyes. When I told him she had recent diarreah, he took an instrument that I thought was WAY to big for a kitten to get a stool sample. He inserted it at least 2 inches, but I think more l...
