Re: hi guys!!!!!!!!
Like I said your kitty is going to be mad. Cats are territorial, and you are hers, she doesn't want to share you. From my own personal experiences, I would advised to let her ride it out. Don't completely ignore her but don't chase her around the house trying to force attention on her. Talk to her w...

Re: My cat is crazy -- Not in a good way.
Understood. And for what is worth maybe my approach to the whole indoor/outdoor thing stems from me living in the country and having a large area for my cats to roam and being a good distance from the road and having few neighbors. I understand that some people may not have these things which would ...

Re: My cat is crazy -- Not in a good way.
First I want to apologize to Traci, I did not mean to be so vicious. Being new to the board I guess I should explain myself and my personality. I am very opinionated and sometimes the things I say don't really come out the way I intend them and I tend to argue my point of view like It will save the ...

Especially my precious, she gets mad turns her nose up at me a tears at the living room rug with a firey passion. As for the vet being booked til August, I b...

Re: hi guys!!!!!!!!
I don't know where you live but I'm in a more rural area and the humane society in my ara provide help to low income households for spay and neutering. Also there are organizations that help with the cost, and some clinics specifically for spay and neutering is relatively cheaper than your average v...

Re: cats can'tbe a;;bad:
In the "natural world" cats should be free and wild like they were born yet we as the "superior species" feel the need to use animals (cats) as our companions. I am guilty of this, I love my cats and I am happy to have them, but if we're going to get that deep into the subject wh...

Re: My cat is crazy -- Not in a good way.
Okay, first of all I would like to say that Traci and KB have [b]some[/b valid points. Yes I know that Traci is a veteranary technician and should know what she's talking about, but, (and I mean this with all do respect.) I don't think she has ever owned a cat. I agree that cats who are weene...

Re: help in paying for vet
You may also want to try contacting your local Humane society. Your vet should know the person to contact, my local humane society is pretty helpful with people in your situation. This is a suggestion that it wouldn't hurt to try, but remeber the society in your area may not be able to assist. ")

Re: Parasites under the skin
I want to thank you Tambrey for your advice and support. Since this is Easter weekend, and vets aren't really available, I just want to keep in touch with someone so I'm posting an update and some more info. Peach does go outside, and there has been no injuries, that I have seen. Also if it is an in...

Re: Parasites under the skin
I am taking Peach to the vet ASAP, and I appreciate the advice, but when you say cancer is fast growing, how fast, this lump appeared in a matter of days maybe two or three at the most?
