What kind of litter are you using? Once when I was cat sitting for my sister's cats I had to supplement their litter from my supply. I used a green litter, which my sister did not. One of her cats sniffed the litter and immediately got into the box and lay down on it, which she had never done before...

A friend's cat's ears were unusually hot. Is this a sign of a fever? There were no other apparent health problems at the time.
