We leave him alone during the day so I suppose he does get bored but loves to play when we get home and early in the morning, 3:30am? He is a very nice, playfull cat and we ...

Our two year old Maine Coon is a great cat. Very playful. One habit he has that we would like to break is that he dives and rolls in his kitty box. He has long hair so he get very gross and dirty and leaves kttiy litter all over the house. Any ideas? We are glad he uses his kitty box for its origina...

Re: litterbox hijinx

We usually come in the garage door which is right next to the laundry room where is cat box is. The challenge is grabbing him before he dives into it. He also will try and lead us in there so he can do that. Usually it is when we have been gone for a while. I think it is a attention getting playful ...

Re: litterbox hijinx

We have also changed litter once but that doesn't seem to change. He is so good with his potty habits we don't want to mess with the routine to much. It is more or less a playful thing he does. I think he maybe even enjoys me grabbing him and brushing him off. We are trying to ignore him because I t...

litterbox hijinx

Our one year old Maine Coon has a icky habit of running into his catbox when we come home and rolling over on his back and wiggling playfully. He has always done this and I'm sure he has picked it up from his days in the petstore and the cattery. If you go in these places the little guys are always ...

Re: sick kitten

Took Bo to the Vet. Vet diagnosed it as Cat Herpes. Probably picked it up as a kitten at the cat shelter and is something he will have for life. His coughing has eased up but is appetite hasn't returned and he periodically has spit up bile. The Vet gave us some petroleum based Lysine to give him. Hi...
