Re: My kitties need your help!!!

Yup, the food and litter box are out of a high traffic area. And they are in the same room. Now that is getting dark I put a night light in that room. One more question, when Baby hisses at us or at Salem, should I say 'no', yell at her, ignore it? I know she's not trying to be mean, but still, its ...

My kitties need your help!!!

Hi everyone. I need some advice! I moved into a new apartment this weekend and my cats are not adjusting well. Before I get into the specifics, let me give you a little background. My cats are 2 years old and are brother and sister from the same litter. I've had them since they were 6 weeks. They ar...

Re: Cats are causing trouble (again)

Yeah I guess I could. Why can't I just have good kitties though? Thats a better solution. Baby finally came out from under the bed just now after about an hour and half. She came up to where I was sitting to give me a hug and kiss (yes, she can give hugs and kisses). I just looked at her and said 'R...

Re: Cat is a big pain in the butt

Salem is a year and half and I got both he and Baby when they were six weeks (brother and sister from the same litter). We've been living in the same apartment for about a year. When they were very tiny, I had similar problems with both of them. They would keep me up all night with the licking and c...

Cat is a big pain in the butt

My male cat, Salem, has been driving me nutty lately. At night time, I usually keep my bedroom door open so my cats can sleep in the bedroom if they want. My female cat, Baby, will usually sleep on my bed and she never disturbs me during the night. Salem however is another story. He's usually okay u...

Re: Bald Spots and Freckles

Yes they are true siblings. And as far as I know, neither have had any skin conditions. They do tend to groom each other a lot so I suppose that could have something to do with it. They've always had the bald spots there so I don't even really notice it anymore. My boyfriend however likes to refer t...

Bald Spots and Freckles

Hi everyone. I got my two cats, Baby and Salem, when they were six weeks old. At one of their first vet appointments I asked the doctor why they had bald spots over their eyes. She said that all kittens have them but that it was more noticeable on mine because they are black. She said it would grow ...

Re: Low Ash content?

yes all the magnesium contents were fine- .1% or lower. It's interesting how much you stress magnesium. My vet has talked to me many times about ash but has never mentioned magnesium. I never even would have checked if you hadn't suggested it.
