Re: My cats wont go outside becuase of other cats
That scenario right there has been one of my worst nightmares for a long time. My own cats aren't in any danger because they're indoors only, but there are always so many outdoor cats and I'm terrified of any of them getting injured by our car. It's a terrible way to go.

Re: My cats wont go outside becuase of other cats
I have 3 cats in a 1 bedroom apartment, and they're extremely happy. I seriously doubt your house is really too small for your cats. Also, look at it this way: Your kitties already don't want to go outside now because of dangers they've experienced. You wouldn't be cooping them up when they've alrea...

Re: How long until I worry about constipation?
The reason I've never noticed such a thing before is because I've never owned a female cat before. Hahaha. Well, I had some when I was a minor, but they weren't really mine... And I didn't notice ANYTHING when I was just a kid. :P And yeah, 3 cats now. Two silly boys and a very very silly girl who f...

Re: How long until I worry about constipation?
Well, to update... I'm clearly no vet, but I can no longer feel anything obviously strange about her tummy at all. No lumpies or bumpies.
I guess that answers my concern. Haha.
She's also almost ridiculously energetic, so I think she's doing very nicely. :D

Re: I think I might have to declaw
So far I've had great luck with three cats using my favorite method of getting them to use a scratching post. Just got a new kitten a few weeks ago and she wanted to scratch EVERYTHING in the place... But she's already almost stopped scratching anything but the scratching post. My method: "Hey,...

Okay, thanks very much for the advice. I'll definitely keep an eye on it and her.

No, the only thing he mentioned was that he thought it was probably caused by recent surgery, aka her getting spayed. Edit: Also, now that I'm aware of it, I think I can feel it myself... Feels kind of like just a tiny little pebble under her skin on her tummy. So it could just be scar tissue and no...

Re: How long until I worry about constipation?
I know, that tiny white tailtip is part of what got me about her... Hahaha. So cute. And we have poopy! I was just looking at the litter seeing if I could find anything, and she saw me looking at it, and decided to poop. :P It was pretty good consistency, yay. LOL. Unfortunately, we don't have an es...

How long until I worry about constipation?
So, we just adopted a kitten on Saturday. She's a cutie pie. She has no name yet. http://www.PestilenceWARE.Com/images/forums/Kitten/Kitten01.jpg I'll try to put as much details into this topic as I can think of. She's about four months old. We got her from an animal rescue center that takes in all ...
