Re: UTI?
I already posted that I'd taken her to the vet. You must have missed it. I said that she was recieving treatment and will be fine. Turns out that she hadn't had a UTI as long as I thought, and just likes using the bathtub as a litterbox.

Re: UTI?
I sought advice after I was already out of town. I couldn't very well haul all my family back home to take her to the vet. I've never had a UTI or kidney stones, but I do have gallstones, which require surgery, which I can't afford and it's a pain that I have to live with until I either get insuranc...

Re: UTI?
I disagree that there was no reason to be on the defensive. Every post after I said I was going to take M.K. to the Vet started lecturing about how I needed to do it right this second, and acting as if I was the worst of the worst for waiting until monday.

Re: UTI?
One last thing, cat is on treatment and will be fine. She hasn't had the UTI nearly as long as I suspected. She just likes to use the bathtub as her literbox.

Re: UTI?
Ok, 1. I haven't lived in Portland in years. I now live in a rural area. 2. I came to this site looking for advice. I then acceded and said I would bring my cat to the vet, when it turned out that giving her antibiotics wouldn't work. 3. People on this site have continued to act as if I said I was j...

Re: UTI?
Yes, I posted this on Thursday, and am only NOW taking her to the vet. It's a small town and in case you forgot, Thursday was Thanksgiving. Even if I was in town, the Vet was closed for the holiday weekend.

Re: UTI?
Wow, mamabear, you've got quite the memory. My other cat had an abcess, which was taken care of. I ended up finding him another home, due to the fact that he became rather agressive towards my other cat, and started spraying. (the person I got him from fixed him late) I still see him occasionally, a...

Re: UTI?
She was on a low quality cat food before, but I feed all my animals Nutro Natural, a better then average food that cost some more, but they eat less so it works out. As for my dad, he thought she was ticked because he kept one of her kittens, and soon after she was going to the bathroom outside. Sin...

UTI?
I recently added a cat to my household. She was my fathers, but he moved to an apartment, and couldn't keep her, so I took her in. She only goes to the bathroom in the tub or on towels left in the bathroom. Her urine is occasionally pink, and there's also a reddish grit left behind. My dad says that...
