Latest news is Sam's numbers keep dropping and he might go home today. :) The biggest concern is whether or not the kidney damage is permanent; if so, then his numbers will start to climb again when they take him off the IVs. They told us the same thing when Mija was poisoned by the lilies, and thou...

Well, the news is better this morning. Sam was "bright and alert" when the vets first saw him, so that's a good sign. His electrolyte and kidney function numbers keep going down, though still high, so again...a good sign. I'll keep you posted!
