Re: Suggestions?
I don't have a flea problem in my home but I do have two dogs that go in and out (both are on heatworm and flea prevention). I live in the south so mosquitos are a big problem around here! My cats have been on Heartgard. I'm just trying to find the least expensive and safest route to go! Fleas tend ...

Suggestions?
I have two rather large tabby cats that are strictly in-doors. I am trying to come up with the best combination of flea control and heart worm prevention for them. What topical flea control products out there are safe? I've been using Frontline Plus but am curious about Advantage (it costs less). Of...

Re: toxic priority cat food
Go to another vet. Your peace of mind is important enough.

Re: Plants
Thank you! The links you gave me worked! I am not the best with computers. I'll make sure to keep the plants away from the cats.

Plants
I am going to the Farmer's Market this weekend and am planning on buying some herb plants. I'll be growing them outside on my balcony but when it's winter time I'll need to bring them in. Are there any plants that I should avoid because they are toxic (mainly herbs)? I tried to check out the article...

Re: Healthy diet
OK, just wanted to update you on Charlie. I picked him up from the vet's on Monday. They said that he had another bout of diarea. They did another fecal, it came back negative. They put him on anti-biotics and the special canned food. It cleared up. They think it was caused by stress. We are changin...

Re: Healthy diet
Really? I've been using a tropical blend shampoo with him (it smells great). I'll stop using it! The groomers ended up giving Charlie a strawberry bath (whatever that is) without asking me. They said it was a special for getting "the works." I wasn't concerned then but now I am. Also, a co...

Re: Healthy diet
I didn't want to use regular shampoo. I've heard that they can sometimes cause dandruff. I have no idea if that is true but I wanted to go with as natural and gentle a product as possible. I don't know of any actual allergies that he might have. I'm just being over protective! Thanks!

Re: Healthy diet
I almost forgot! I'm taking Charlie to the groomers this afternoon. Should I put it off? Also, they suggested an oatmeal bath for him (I didn't want regular shampoo and conditioner, his reverse sneezing always seems to be worse after I use any kind of conditioner). Is an oatmeal bath OK for dogs? So...
