Thanks for the replies! Jersey has now had her tooth removed and her teeth cleaned. Her liver enzymes and her thyroid were all back within normal range within 10 days. She is now on 1 pill a day for the thyroid instead of 2 and will be re-checked in a month to see if the dosage is right for her, or...

She is a white shepard who belongs to LMP on another board. She was brought in today to her vet with problems. She is going in for surgery to explore a mass on her spleen. Her chances of survival ar slim, but without the surgery she had no chance at all.

I once had a Lab with the same type of ear infection........
It was very frustrating. She was very good and let me clean her ears daily and apply medine although she would cry out in pain. I'm not sure who it hurt more her or me. This went on for months, with no relief in sight. Finally her vet suggested ear surgery to open up the ear canal and we did it and ...
