Re: It's been a long time...need some help
His food is a few feet away from hers. As far as the litter boxes, they are both kept clean. And yes, the are both free fed. As far as the growling and hissing, it is now all Zima instigating anything. Teddy will usually respond with a meow, but he has now twice lunged back at Zima when she is doing...

Re: It's been a long time...need some help
We have been fortunate to have only a few "attacks" and no one was hurt. Today they have kept there distance, with Zima staring at his every move. Only when he gets too close will she growl or a little hiss, he'll meow and hiss back, and walk away. Not the best of friends yet, but tollerat...

Re: It's been a long time...need some help
Thanks again for the advice! Things are progressing slowly, but are improving. Today was the first day we have let him out of his "safe room" for an extended period of time. Some growling and hissing from both parties as Teddy explored, but they have not "fought" in anyway. And y...

Re: Post Op Care
but I would like to suggest you speak to your vet in greater detail before you proceed. Is there any other reason you are adamant about nail trimming or other solutions first? Traci- I was very conflicted over this, but the pros did out weigh the cons on this one. I have actually talked to 2 vets r...

Re: Post Op Care
Sorry, but there was one thing I wanted to add but forgot. Any tips on giving a cat her medication? I've heard many horror stories and jokes on giving cats pills, but never any advice.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

Post Op Care
I have read many articles on this, including the ones on this site, but juts wanted some first hand knowledge and advice from those who have had it done. Zima, my 10 month old, is getting spayed and declawed tomorrow morning. She will be kept at the vets overnight, and I was looking for some tips an...
